Chase Cell Phone, Get Stuck in Trash Chute
A U.S. teenager from Atlanta had to be rescued from an apartment complex trash chute after she accidently threw away her cell phone and got stuck while she tried to get it back, police said. The 19-year old woman ordered fast food from a restaurant early on Sunday and mistakenly dropped her cell phone in the useless food bag. After she threw the bag into the trash chute at the apartment complex she realized her phone wasn't in her pocket. So she retraces her steps and realizes where her phone had gone. She then got stuck attempting to reach for the back. Her friends called the police, and fire fighters dislodged her within 10 minutes by moving a dumpster at the end of the chute and pulling her out. Local police officer, Tim Fecht said "I've heard of people getting stuck while cleaning the chutes, but taking a swan dive, like in the movies, that's pretty rare," Fecht said. He said the woman was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for minor injuries.

ReplyDeleteWow, really? Is the phone so important she HAD to get stuck, couldn't she just tip it over or something and avoid getting stuck? Or maybe just act like nothing happened? Smooooth kid.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know right. I think I would've just let it go.
